Diatomaceous Earth (De) is known for it's many fantastic benefits for external and internal usage. People have been using it for it's many condition benefits in relation to their pets and themselves. It has also been sufficient as a natural bed bug killer; but not all Diatomaceous Earth is the same. These fossilized deposits come from unicellular aquatic organism called diatoms.
There are two original types: salt water and fresh water. The Fresh Water types have been given a food-grade designation by the the Food and Drug supervision as a corollary of their purity. Depending on how De is processed determines its use. Filter grind De can cause lung damage if inhaled or ingested. Food Grade is used as a binding agent and is used in pills, toothpastes, and for colon cleansing surrounded by other things. It is listed as the ingredient Silicon Dioxide. It is best to use Amorphous Diatomaceous Earth for pest control purposes since you will be in close touch with this product for bed bug treatment application.
According to the World condition Organization, for Diatomaceous Earth to meet safety standards it must include less than 3% of crystalline silica content. It is not clear if Diatomaceous Earth alone can get rid of bed bugs wholly but it surely prevents them from arrival back. It likely depends on the level of infestation you are dealing with. It is the one natural bed bug killer clarification that is sufficient and does not expose you to harmful chemicals like pro treatment methods would. There are some organic methods that I have come across for bed bug elimination that might be just as sufficient as the chemical treatments.
